"Confirmed" is decided by Earth Impact Database edit

I just moved a bunch of craters back to the unconfirmed section. An editor apparently was satisfied with them and decided they were confirmed. But please note that the criteria stated on this page is that "confirmed" is decided by the Earth Impact Database, not just any Wikipedia editor's whim. Don't get impatient or hold your breath for them to accept any craters any time soon. 03:18, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

List of impact craters in the United States and Central AmericaList of impact craters in North America — I suggest this page should be moved to List of impact craters in North America for consistency with lists of impact craters for all the other continents. It is the original location this page was, but was subdivided in 2007 so that Canada could have its own page. It cannot be moved back by a non-admin because there was more than on edit to the page. A section for Canada can and will be added which links to its existing list page after the move. Ikluft (talk) 02:49, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment this does not appear to be the original list, since the first edit has the comment

Does someone know where this list was moved or split from? 76.66.197.30 (talk) 06:13, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, it was split from List of impact craters on Earth... 76.66.197.30 (talk) 06:51, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Earth Impact Database has moved edit

The current external link goes to an otherwise-empty page noting that the dB has moved to a new site, and has been RENAMED. The new site has a large global map of all confirmed & suspected impacts in JPG format, XLS, & GoogleEarth KMZ, all free to download. http://impacts.rajmon.cz/ Steve8394 (talk) 19:43, 24 July 2013 (UTC) For uniformity, I copied the link from the main list page onto this one.
