I would suggest adding:

  • Best all-round career records (say players with over 20,000 runs and 2,000 wickets)
  • Most "doubles"
  • Most catches by a fielder in a season

  • why not 400 runs scored by lara against england includes in most run score in an ininng by an indivisuals
  • win after follown has to b includes in it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.197.161.56 (talk) 05:14, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Lara's 400 is included. It says, "The highest individual score in first-class cricket is 501* scored by Brian Lara for Warwickshire in 1994. There have been nine other scores of 400 or more, including another one by Lara [that's the 400* you refer to] and two by Bill Ponsford." followed by a link to List of first-class cricket quadruple centuries. Lara's 400 not out isn't in the table lower down because it wasn't the record first-class score.
Winning after following on is probably too common in first-class cricket to include, and I don't know of a definitive list we could use as a reference. It would probably be a separate article, along the lines of List of tied first-class cricket matches. If you think you can add such an article, why not have a go? --RobertGtalk 09:08, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
It may be that the inquirer does not sppreciate that first-class and Test cricket are not synonyms, and that there is a separate List of Test cricket records which includes the things that he suggested. JH (talk page) 09:59, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Now that CricketArchive have decided to put up a paywall, would there be support for a move to (currently free) CricInfo archive scorecard links instead of CricketArchive scorecard links? --RobertGtalk 09:34, 29 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

You can still access CA for free by hitting your ESC key immediately after you click on each CA page link. Don't hit it too quickly or you see a blank page. Routine to master is click–count "one"–ESC. Have fun. Jack | talk page 11:50, 29 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
That doesn't work for me. I would support moving all the links to ESPNcricinfo. Adpete (talk) 01:27, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
