Merge of Naomi Wildman edit

This is another merge I disagree with; I think all of the "regular characters" (see the template {{Star Trek regulars}}) need their own articles. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 19:42, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • But again, she wasn't a "regular" character, she was recurring, and there is hardly and real-world information to make this a notable article, see WP:NOT Ejfetters 01:38, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I also disagree with the merge, Naomi was noteable enough for her own article. A very unique individual. Heck, in one episode, she was two individuals. Lots42 (talk) 16:09, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposed to save articles edit

The merger proposed are done so to save the articles from ultimate PROD and AFD nominations, that will be inevitable because most, if not all of these articles fail WP:Plot, WP:WAF, WP:FICT, WP:RS, WP:OR - how can one ignore or put aside these "guidelines" put forth in Wikipedia and used in writing fictional subject articles throughout Wikipedia. Lwaxana Troi merger edit

Proposed merger as the article has no real-world notability and is just mainly a stub. If someone can dig up real-world casting, character creation, etc. that was made for the other characters, then I would say keep it the way it is. But in its current state, i propose a merger. Hopefully we can comment on here about it rather than just delete the merger tag with no explanation here. Ejfetters (talk) 23:32, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Given her appearance as a recurring character in two Star Trek series, I think that she is iconic enough to keep. Again, I do not think that the current poor state of the article argues for a merge since bad content is not improved by being in a list. It should be rewritten whether it is kept seperate or not, and I believe that given her level of real world notability (derived from being a major recurring plot devise on a major TV show) she is best kept as a seperate article. • Because of her recurring nature I don't believe the article should be merged. Looking over the List of Star Trek characters: T-Z article, the characters are mainly one time roles which very little is known about. At most they have one or two lines describing the character. Much more is known about the Lwaxana Troi character than would be appropriate given the level of content for the other characters.Bkellihan (talk) 19:44, 2 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

José Tyler merger edit

I'd like to leaver his and J.M. Colt where they are, I am going to expand their pages to include a lot of Star Trek: Early Voyages and novel info on them (they were big players in these) but am having some difficulties since my comics/novels are in storage, I will be able to get them before the new year. They were main characters in the comic, which was one of the more popular Marvel trek comics, and i will be expanding the main Star Trek: Early Voyages page as well.

There seems to be enough in there now to take away the merge tag Alastairward (talk) 15:19, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tal Celes edit

I think this page should be merged into the minor characters on Voyager section. According to the actress' bio, she only appeared on two episodes. Lots42 (talk) 12:33, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not even worth noting as a Voyager recurring character... I've merged her here instead. - Fayenatic (talk) 13:35, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

External Links edit

This article has an excessive number of external links to Memory Alpha. While perhaps an external link at the end might be apropriate, WP:LINKS specifically states that external links should be kept to a minimum. Having a link for almost every character is unnecessary. --Kraftlos (Talk | Contrib) 04:41, 4 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maybe this has changed in the meantime, but the only MA links that were here just now were references. I’ve just removed them all, as fan wikis are categorically not reliable sources. —151.132.206.250 (talk) 21:11, 29 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dead external links to Allmusic website – January 2011 edit

Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 1 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. If a new location cannot be found, the link(s) should be removed. This applies to the following external links:
