Vandalism

edit

I'm not the world's biggest expert on Saved by the Bell, but it appears this page has been vandalized because I highly doubt that a Saturday morning sitcom featured bukkake and double penetration. I'm going to pass this on to an editor but I thought I'd note it here first. BronzeWarrior 08:02, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I fixed it, just as you could have. =) You're an editor too, you know. =) Powers 12:22, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Whoops! Didn't occur to me I could revert it myself for some reason. I'm used to adding or changing things, not rolling them back to previous edits. BronzeWarrior 05:26, 25 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Twins

edit

Hey, who were the uncredited twin girls who appeared in virtually every episode? They were never named in the credits, but any moderately serious fan would know what I'm talking about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.228.90.118 (talk) 03:09, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

As the author of 40+ of these entries, I feel personally invested in demanding that the literary sanctity of this page remains whole. This involves, among other things, keeping the tenses of all articles correct (ie "James was an out-of-work actor who took a job as a waiter at the Max. He says that he is a student at acting school") and, with occasional exceptions, leaving thematic speculation out of an entry ("Played by Jack Angeles, Tuttle was an enthusiastic, overweight teacher (perhaps a foil for the thin, dour Mr. Dewey"). This is sloppy and unacceptable. If you want a character added but don't feel qualified to author the article, post the name of the character here and I'll get to it as soon as possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.207.129.56 (talk) 01:55, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit

I propose to merge Zack Morris into List of Saved by the Bell characters. I propose this merger because none of the other main characters in Saved by the Bell have their own pages and the information on the Zack Morris page could easily be explained on the list page. DisneyAviationRollerCoasterEnthusiast (talk) 00:01, 24 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Support if shortened. The current article is quite long and if the entire thing was copied into this article that would be inappropriate. Trialpears (talk) 15:36, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
I think the only necessary parts of the Zach article are sections 1-2.2.DisneyAviationRollerCoasterEnthusiast (talk) 23:38, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Character table

edit

I restored the character table which was removed by a user, claiming it was “highly convoluted”. I don’t see anything convoluted at all about this table and, in fact, it is similar to character tables on many, many other franchise pages. If improvements can be made, I’m all for them, but i see no reason to delete the entire table. Rcarter555 (talk) 14:20, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

My "highly convoluted" comment was mainly driven by the fact that every single main/recurring character is listed in the series. To me, it makes sense to include characters in the table that were a part of the series for a decent period of time, but including all the recurring characters or main characters only lasting a season or two makes it unnecessarily cluttered. In hindsight, I should not have removed the table without posting on the talk page first. I won't be reverting again and I understand your disagreement on the matter. I am sorry if my revert frustrated you, but I just wanted to explain my reasoning for you and others to see. Thank you, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 17:02, 17 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
No frustration, just wanted to explain here what I was doing. And character tables always include all main and recurring characters, no matter how long they were on the show (certainly if they were credited as regulars). Take a look at The Walking Dead table for an example.Rcarter555 (talk) 17:17, 17 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Richard Belding

edit

In this article is says his name is a pun on bell ding, was this intentional? I was wondering as there is a Richard Belding who was editorial supervisor for the Columbo film A Friend In Deed. Middle More Rider (talk) 03:54, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
