References edit
Several good references are cited and can support many of the assertions made, but the references must be repeated at the appropriate points in the text. -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:06, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Analysis and Reception sections missing edit
This article contains very little analysis of Wilson's works and little information about their reception. It should contain discussion of these matters, under headings like "Reception", sourced from reviews in newspapers, magazines and other critics. See Noel Coward for an example of how to write these. -- Ssilvers (talk) 03:12, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
Update edit
Thanks for the progress on the article. Some page numbers and citations still missing, but much better. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:16, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
This article on Lanford Wilson needs a complete re-write. It is written from a peculiar point of view, over-emphasizing the writer's homosexuality. While it is true Wilson had his beginnings off-off-Broadway, this is also out of proportion to his considerable influence on the professional theater in the twentieth century. I would hope a scholar would step up to re-write this entry. Before his death in 2011, Wilson expressed to friends how disappointed he was with his Wikipedia biography.Mwmdei (talk) 16:28, 20 October 2014 (UTC) (talk)
