How can I get the phot changed for Kurupt? The picture being used is old and his team requested it to be changed if possible because of the posing used. Thart1986 (talk) 23:38, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I just went in and fixed some of the grammar, and got rid of the slang. _ _

Record Sales edit

In 1998 under Artimus Records he released a double album called Kuruption which went platinum (sold one million records)

Shortly after that he released The Streetz is a Mutha which also went platinum

Are there any sources for that? I've never heard Kurupt selling one million units of a solo album.

Snoop and Suge edit

The article says that "Snoop Doggy Dogg was eventually discovered by Suge Knight". The Warren G article claims that Snoop was discovered by Dre through his step-brother Warren G. The Snoop Dogg article doesn't say who discovered him. I was under the impression that Suge did not discover Snoop, but I could be wrong. Tim Ivorson 2006-06-18

Fair use rationale for Image:DPG-DC.jpg edit

Image:DPG-DC.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:55, 2 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

March 24 2018 edit

I'm thinking Ya need to swap out the main image, for one where he isn't flashing his gang signs on the interweb. I find it disrespectful to the civil community to allow punk ass representation.

Request Edits edit

Information to be added or removed: Full legal name: Ricardo Emanuel Brown Jr. Explanation of issue: With new career adventures coming about, he would like to be recognized as a JR on Wikipedia. References supporting change: https://twitter.com/kurupt_gotti/status/256810682777993216?lang=en Thart1986 (talk) 23:34, 1 March 2020 (UTC)thart1986Reply

Information to be added or removed: Kurupt was engaged to rapper Foxy Brown from 1999 to 2000. He was also engaged to the late Natina Reed of girl group Blaque in the early-2000s. They had one son together, Tren Brown (born 2002). Shortly during Reed’s pregnancy, the couple ended their engagement.

Brown later married JoVan Brown in 2007 and later divorced. Their divorce took years to be finalized.

Kurupt tried marijuana at the age of 12. He owns a cannabis strain called the real moonrock, which contains up to 64% THC, and a new cannabis brand called GottiGold, which he partnered with 1933 Industries.

Explanation of issue: Please update Kurupt's Personal Life section. Trying to update the sentence about his married life and make his marijuana mention a bit more detailed. (I also would like to note that I couldn't find a page on 1933 Industries.) References supporting change: [1] and [2] Thart1986 (talk) 23:36, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Thart1986Reply

Reply 2-MAR-2020 edit

   Already done

  • The majority of the requested claims are already in the article, except the claim regarding the divorce taking "years", which is not referenced.
  • The tweet does not unambiguously state that the JR suffix is to be used. In any event, adding the suffix would require consensus, for which the edit request template is not required to seek.[1] Please feel free to begin a discussion below this post about the necessity of this change.

WikiProject assessments edit

I have added and assessed the WikiProject Crime banner and assessed for the WikiProject Organized crime banner primarily on the basis of this artist's musical genres including gangsta rap and the article being assigned to the Gangsta rappers and Crips categories. Aside from his art, there is no indication in the article that this artist has been directly involved in any sort of crime or criminal organization. Apart from this artist's genre of music-making, there is nothing in the article content to indicate why this article should be of interest to these assigned WikiProjects. If you are aware of additional sources of information not included in the article that further support these WikiProject assignments, please identify those source(s) and add that additional information to the article. If you disagree with this assessment for these WikiProjects, please explain your disagreement and justify why these WikiProjects should be removed, if you do remove them. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 11:47, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
