Descent

The prose calls him of Guinean descent (with no source), the category has him as Guadeloupean. Until there is a source, this is against BLP, and shouldn't be mentioned. I know that it is more likely that his English-origin name is from a Caribbean culture rather than Africa, this isn't a certainty, for Kurt Zouma is of African heritage and has an ENglish-origin name. Hello English Wikipedia! Coman's mother is not from Guinea, but from neighbouring Guinea-Bissau. This information is posted in the current number of "Bayern-Magazin", FC Bayern's official club magazine. I think an official club magazine is a more reliable source than just some website stating she was from Guinea. Unfortunately, I'm not used to the English customs of quoting a printed source. Would be nice if one of you would do this! The quotation is "Bayern-Magazin. Offizielles Klubmagazin des FC Bayern München", volume 65 (2015/16), issue 3, page 17. The article's title is ″Ein Traum ist in Erfüllung gegangen″, including the quotation marks, because it's a quotation of Coman. It means ″A dream has come true". --Kuemmjen (talk) 17:59, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

There are different informations about the descent of Kingsley Coman. That is why the informations and references have changed some times. I am behind it to find it out finally. Bayern Munich press office says both parents are from Guadeloupe. But why are there in the french newspapers and international football transfer webpages infos that he is from Guinean descent? @Struway2: Whenever there's a reference to a goal.com website, it always directs me to main page [1]...maybe because they don't allow you to see it in Canada, but I don't know why?...so I can't see the source. So if what that source says is true, then you're saying he should have two titles? But did he get a medal? And does your source cite the "Serie A rules" that say one appearance is enough? Try this tweet from the director of GoalItalia. The goal.com piece goes on to say that even a seat on the bench is enough: Per le regole della Lega di Serie A, infatti, basta un'unica presenza anche solo in panchina per ricevere ufficialmente una fetta di merito in caso di scudetto a fine stagione. Nello scorso campionato, ad esempio, Evra e Hernanes sono stati considerati campioni d'Italia nonostante l'addio alla Juventus nel gennaio del 2017.

But no, they don't cite the actual regulation. And without seeing it, we don't know if goal.com is right or not. @Struway2: I attempted to ask at the Italian wiki project page, you seem to be able to understand some Italian as well: take a look at it:Discussioni progetto:Sport/Calcio#Regola della Lega Serie A, Campione d'Italia. They all say unless they are wearing the jersey at the end of the season, the title shouldn't count also for Patrice Evra, Hernanes, Federico Mattiello: Fin qui Wikipedia si è sempre attenuta alla prassi di chi si fa carico delle statistiche della Lega, cioè la Panini, le cui indicazioni sono sempre state quelle di considerare scudettati unicamente i calciatori presenti in rosa al momento della vittoria. Their opinions may well be right, even though on en.wiki, you'll be lucky to get a Panini sticker treated as RS even if Panini are a statistical partner of the Italian league. Does seem odd though: imagine a scenario where, by the end of January, a player plays 20 x 90 minutes, scores 35 goals and helps put his team so far clear that they're unlikely to be caught. The club then receives an offer they can't refuse and sell him. That player wouldn't be scudettato, despite their huge contribution, but youngsters given minutes in the last few matches of the season and maybe released at the end of it would? That makes even less sense than a seat on the bench being enough.

Someone in that discussion wrote they'd like to see the goal.com idea in black and white in a circular from the Lega. I'd like to see something official in black and white. The Premier League rule C13 says (the rule is on about page 110 of their large PDF handbook, link here)

"The League Champions shall further receive 40 commemorative medals to be presented by the Club to its Manager and to such of its Players and Officials as it thinks fit provided that any Player who has entered the field of play in a minimum of five of its League Matches that Season shall receive from the Club a commemorative medal. Here is the Italian regulation http://www.figc.it/it/93/3817/Norme.shtml The Serie A regulation should locate somewhere in http://www.legaseriea.it/it/sala-stampa/documentazione, however, reading original text and make interpretation, it seem toward WP:OR.
