This page was updated in February 2010 with a copy of http://www.hopefortheheart.org/site/PageServer?pagename=abt_meet_june. Wikipedia cannot accept copyright text unless a proper copyright release has been made, as explained at WP:Donating copyrighted materials; in any the text, like most personal websites, has a promotional tone unsuitable for an encyclopedi article which requires a neutral point of view. I have restored the last version before the copyright text was added. JohnCD (talk) 15:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Question for Editor

edit

Dear Wiki Editor,

June's Wiki article is maintained by the Hope For The Heart staff of which I am one of.

On the following notes added in April,. 2013, it isn't clear what specific entries might be violating the Wiki policies. Hope For The Heart owns all the copyrights to the materials and www.hopefortheheart.org website quoted (unless otherwise noted) of which June Hunt is the CEO and Founder of...which is stated in the article. The confusing point is one warning states there are excessive links and the second warning states the article needs more links.

Please assist us to better understand what the specific issues are so we may correct them or clarify in order to keep them in the article. The warnings are noted below for reference.

"This article's use of external links may not follow Wikipedia's policies or guidelines. Please improve this article by removing excessive or inappropriate external links, and converting useful links where appropriate into footnote references. (April 2013)"

"This article needs more links to other articles to help integrate it into the encyclopedia. Please help improve this article by adding links that are relevant to the context within the existing text. (April 2013)"

Thank you for your assistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pkguy323 (talkcontribs) 14:28, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Name of Theme Song(s)

Could someone name the theme song(s) that listeners hear on the radio station? MaynardClark (talk) 05:38, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Education

edit

Phrases such as " Upon graduation from college in 1966 with a Bachelor of Music degree,..." don't indicate where June Hunt did formal education. Let's track this down. MaynardClark (talk) 05:17, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reportedely, it's Southern Methodist University, per http://www.smu.edu/StudentAffairs/StudentLife/Awards/MAward/AwardArchive, a 1966 graduate (with an award). MaynardClark (talk) 05:26, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

There are six entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
  • ELpoints #3) states: Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
  • LINKFARM states: There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
  • WP:ELMIN: Minimize the number of links.
