Jonathon Davies edit

Seems to be the same player, or if there are two players with similar names their biogs here have become confused.--Philbarker 17:48, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

A good spot. They are the same person, this article has the correct spelling, the one you linked is spelled wrongly. They need merging.GordyB 19:50, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Agreed - I just killed the "o" article with a redirect here. Rgds, - Trident13 17:44, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Everyone knows the dual-code international as the Jonathan Davies, surely disambiguation page for everyone else. GarethHolteDavies (talk) 14:30, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Llanelli edit

Jonathan Davies played for Llanelli after leaving Neath and before going to rugby League . I can't remeber how long but it was a number of years. perhaps the author has this reference and can edit his entry please

Cardiff comments edit

"Many thought that his teammates deliberately did not pass the ball to him as they considered him a traitor for 'going North' in the first place." Is there evidence of this? Tim Fellows 11:13, 13 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Mentioned in more than one biography including Davies' book 'Codebreaker'. In any case the article does not say that players did not pass to him, it says that people claimed that other players would not pass to him.GordyB 12:02, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

North Queensland Cowboys edit

He played a season (whoever he was rubbish) for my team the North Queensland Cowboys in the Australian Rugby League (NRL), should we add that--195.171.131.151 09:17, 10 March 2006 (UTC)LucasReply

Yes, feel free to add it.GordyB 11:09, 10 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Man Of Steel edit

No mention of his Man of Steel award? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 158.234.250.71 (talk) 11:55, 3 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

Problem with tables edit

There's something wrong with the table at the bottom, isn't there, where the number of games played and tries scored etc is the same for many clubs. (Strictly, it would have been 'Widnes', rather than 'Widnes Vikings' in his day, wouldn't it.)

The first paragraph where it refers to 'Davies' is unclear as to whether the description refers to Jonathan or his father.

Unsourced info edit

There is a considerable amount of long-standing unsourced info (particularly Personal life, which is all unsourced) in this article, so I propose to delete it. Any comments first? See WP:EL/P and the box at the top of this page. Tony Holkham (Talk) 13:26, 11 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
