Political Activities - last sentence

How is that irony? Wen was praised by Communists for his works. Does is it directly mean Communists agree with Wen's particular view on Stuart? Besides, the Communists view on Mao Zedong isn't stable either and he criticized Stuart. There are many factors to consider why a reference to him is not printed. Citation that doesn’t support previous material

Why do people do this sort of thing?

“ The book was finished and published by officials of the U.S. State Department to advance a hard line, anti-Communist political agenda, and the angry, pugnacious tone of the book's latter chapters betray Stuart's self-effacing modesty and patrician voice evident in the first six chapters”

…except the citation given is to the existence of his book, not support for the proposition. It is either that people aren’t caring or that they are actively working to disinform. That is not what Wikipedia is for. Kah13 (talk) 02:09, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
