– There are several John D. Kellys on Wikipedia, and two that were Medal of Honor recipients. —BarrelProof (talk) 02:09, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
There are a couple of queries I have. Is he commonly referred to as "John Doran Kelly" in reliable sources? Because if not, that is not advised (per WP:Middle names. One alternative would be to disambiguate by rank. ie John D. Kelly (private), and John D. Kelly (sergeant), or by service John D. Kelly (soldier) and John D. Kelly (marine). Both alternatives are much more concise. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (crack... thump) 10:51, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Move "John D. Kelly" to "John D. Kelly (Korean War soldier)" and "John D. Kelly (Medal of Honor)" to "John D. Kelly (World War II soldier)". Each served only one war, and that's it. --George Ho (talk) 19:21, 30 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
