This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (your reason here) --Padudarrific (talk) 16:08, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Please note that all university sites like University College London, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Durham have made use of a 'History' page to contain historical institution details, as compared to just making this part of their main page. As historical details of a university (especially if more than 150 years old) could span pages and pages, it is deemed perfectly sensible to transfer a lot of the details of King's College London history to its own 'History of King's College London'.
Seems like a good idea to me. I've been doing edits to the History section of King's College London recently, and there's far more material than would be reasonable to include on that page. It seemed very odd that King's did not have a History of... page (like, as noted, Durham and UCL which have similar length histories). Now this page exists, I have material I intend to add (as and when I get time) that I refrained from adding to the main page. Robminchin (talk) 18:06, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
