Anyone know the correct spelling of Sam Shepherd's last name? I have seen it spelled Shepard and Shepherd. If you change it in this article, please change it also in the disambiguation article Sam Shepherd and in the article Sam Shepherd (Groveland Four). Thanks.--Bchampion 14:30, 16 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I removed the verify tag from this article today. I have fact checked this and I don't think the article contains anything that is in dispute. Please review the extensive links from such sources as PBS before putting it back. Thanks --Bchampion 12:16, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Extensive quote from book reference

edit

Why is there the extensive quote from the book reference in the Reference section? It mostly repeats material in the article above. The material should be in the article and cited.--Parkwells (talk) 15:30, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Groveland case

edit

This does not appear to be an appropriate place to discuss this case. Harry Moore had very little involvement in it. I recommend this section be deleted.--Parkwells (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

By reading the references, I found more of the story and have added it to the article so the connections are clear. Also added material on additional post-humous honors for Harry Moore.--Parkwells (talk) 17:33, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Other Harry T. Moore

edit

Interesting page and I learned much, but I came here looking for the literature professor and D.H. Lawrence scholar Harry T. Moore. Maybe not a central figure, but I'd at least like to know if he's dead or alive and where he studied and taught. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.94.150.197 (talk) 19:41, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Harry Thornton Moore died in 1981. He also went by "Harry T. Moore" as an author, so there should definitely be some disambiguation. Or maybe this article should be renamed "Harry Tyson Moore". I came here from an article by E.E. Cummings' biographer Friedman about the myth that Cummings wanted his own name in lowercase, which Harry Thornton seems to have introduced.
And here's another one: bishop Harry Tunis Moore. 2.204.231.71 (talk) 05:46, 12 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
