• This is only a comment and not a review (I will leave the full review to another editor), but the current hook is too long as it is 214 characters long including "(flag pictured)" and 198 characters without (I am citing WP:DYKHOOK which states that hooks slightly shorter than 200 characters may still be rejected). Why is the title of this page his nickname, when at least all of the sources for the page I was able to check refer to the subject primarily (unsurprisingly) by his given name? Are there any sources which primarily refer to him only as 'Green Leader', instead of just acknowledging that it was his callsign? Parabolist (talk) 01:03, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

Most of the newspaper.com sources provided do and as per WP:NICKNAME. Indeed, even the Zimbabwean press call him Green Leader rather than his given name. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:38, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
