Overciting? edit

A user Snowflake91 seems to be deleting internal links. Presumably due to overlinking. He claims that there is a rule "only one link per section". However, there is no such rule. The standards are that one or a few links per sentence is acceptable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Overlink_crisis nomos2019 (talk) 18:46, 4 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you would ACTUALLY read that page, you would clearly see "linking repeatedly or excessively for any single term (other than for date formats) within the same article. "Excessive" is usually more than one link for the same term in the same paragraph, since in this case one or more duplicate links will almost certainly then appear needlessly on the viewer's screen." And yes, there is a "rule" that you do not link pozareport.si in the same section two or more times. Snowflake91 (talk) 18:56, 4 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
I checked this dispute. It seems that one Serbian footballer was linked only once and that the word indictment was linked only once. Then Snowflake91 removed the links and Easterneurope2019 reverted, and Snowflake91 removed the links again, and Easterneurope2019 reverted again. It seems that the dispute is solved now. nomos2019 (talk) 21:29, 4 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
