This is my first edit of a stub. I have translated much of the entry in the French version of Wiki as this is more comprehensive. However, I have omitted details of Catroux’s decorations and his family.
I’ve read the German entry, which does not seem to be a translation from the French.
On a general note, is there a policy about translating items from one Wiki to another?

The original stub has now been expanded due to my translation from the French. I don't think it can now be considered as a stub. So how can one go about deleting the note at the bottom stating that the entry is just a stub?

There are other points which I will be adding to the article. It's strange but there is a difference of opinion as to whether he became Governor of Indochina in 1938 or 1939. I found several references to both years. I've now decided (in the absence of correction) that it must have been 1939.
