Goo-Goos
editWas John Perry Wood the Goo-Goos candidate? A bit of info on him here, here and here. Ceannlann gorm (talk) 12:22, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
- The sources available to me do not make it possible to either confirm or refute the possibility. As per the Arizona Republican story cited by this article, Davis was one of three judges to lose his position on the Superior Court of Los Angeles during the 1910 election. A report in the Los Angeles Herald showing election results does not organize the candidates by seat but instead lumps them all together. Best guess, the three seats on the bench went to the candidates with the highest number of votes without individuals contesting for specific seats. --Allen3 talk 12:52, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

- Rereading that Arizona Republican piece, it seems to impy that all three successful candidates were backed by the Goo-Goos. If that's correct, then they got a very bad bargain indeed in the case of the later infamous Gavin Craig! Ceannlann gorm (talk) 13:46, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
