I know this is Wikipedia, not Fark, but
editI feel compelled to add: "Useless without pics." -- Yamara 23:59, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
This comment applies to a lot of other entries also, but people are always complaining about the lack of references to entries like this, when these sorts of entries are often adapted from the Japanese Wikipedia. Why the insistance of English references for obscure subjects where Japanese Wikipedia is much more complete and accurate? The people editing the melon pan entry were insisting that some idiotic English cookbook was a more authoritative source than the Japanese Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.216.99.100 (talk) 13:42, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Unsourced info
editThe following information is unsourced:
- Despite her massive meals, Sone weighs approximately only 43 kg (95 lbs) at a height of 160 cm (5' 4")
- Natsuko received her nickname for dressing in the gyaru or "gal" style. Her dyed blonde hair is a characteristic of that style.
- She works as a part time clerk in a miscellaneous goods store when she is not competing, but hopes to obtain her cook's license and eventually open her own restaurant catering to big eaters.
- She is an avid distance runner and recently ran a distance of 20km (12.5 miles)
- Loves ōtoro (a cut of tuna) and pudding.
- Hates melon, liver and soy milk.
- She was in episode 18 of Cartoon KAT-TUN where she got to try caviar for the first time and ate 120 pieces of ōtoro.
- Once ate 183 pieces of ōtoro in 30 minutes.
- Loves to play table tennis.
I must also point out that a lot of this seems quite trivial. However, nonetheless, if none of this is trivial (trivia meaning "unimportant information") and it can be sourced, please incorporate this into the main article. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 02:31, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

In the Trivia section, it says, "When an X-ray was performed on her stomach, it appeared to be normal size, but its connection to the small intestine was larger than normal."
However, the stomach is not connected to the small intestine. Could this actually mean the large intestine? Yes it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastrointestinal_tract According to this post her stomach is way larger than an average human. http://www.japanprobe.com/?p=1657 |
