Played for England edit
I know it's generally acknowledged on the internet that he is the first non-white player to play for England. The fact is that these were 'unofficial' England matches. As such, i don't think his 9 caps for England should be included in his infobox as it's confusing and Wikipedia should be accurate. You'll find no record of him in List of England international footballers (alphabetical) or on England Stats. At the very least a note stating these were "unofficial"? extraordinary (talk) 09:12, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Three appearances for Reading edit
He played as a guest in three wartime games for Reading. This is shown on the website"1871 the ultimate Reading F.C. website in the "where are they now" section. I have attempted to include this in his career record but seem to have made a complete pigs ear of it. Can you please put this right and tell me how to make such a change correctly? - Oh sorry, and also how to fix it. It's not the easiest thing to figure out that infobox. Check out Template:Infobox_Football_biography_2 for more information. Essentially for the different clubs you have 'years', 'clubs' and 'caps(goals)' in this (Frank Soo) example. You'll notice in the code that these also have numbers after them, ie. years1, clubs1. So the second club a player plays for would be 2 and the third one 3 and so on. In this example i've put Reading in as club number 6. As a result you then have to knock up the numbers of all the following clubs he played for.Sorry if i've explained that really badly!! I find just having a good look at the code and seeing how it relates to the final table tends to help me. extraordinary (talk) 13:37, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Infobox edit
- Not a major issue, but is there a reason you have two refs for his full name even though there doesn't appear to be any contradictions?
- Source for his height?
- Prescot Cables are listed as a youth team but in the text it states he began his senior career with the side?
Lead edit
- Linking Chinese but not English seems rather unnecessary. Nationalities are generally considered an WP:OVERLINK.
- "and then was moved on to Luton Town", a little overlong perhaps. Given the later part of the sentence gives a timeframe, I don't think we need both then and was together. Reads a little clunkily I would say.
- Any reason Djurgården aren't linked?
Early and personal life edit
- Our own article on laundry would suggest that the British English wording would support laundrette rather than laundry?
Stoke City edit
- The final part of this section appears unreferenced. Paragraphs shouldn't really end without a source.
- No need to link Poland.
World War II edit
- Same as above with the first paragraph here.
- Add the abbreviation (RAF) after Royal Air Force to explain future uses of the shortened term.
- "pathological dislike of star players", do we know who made this quote? It seems a little like its being stated as fact rather than an opinion.
Luton Town edit
- The second half of the paragraph appears unsourced.
Chelmsford City edit
- "Soo signed with Chelmsford City directly from Luton", is directly needed here?
- "Kidderminster Harriers made of a bid of £1,000", doesn't quite work.
- "City finished in fourth-place position", position isn't really necessary here, fourth-place is perfectly explanatory I would say.
- Again, could do with a ref for the end of the section.

- As obvious as it is, the table could do with a total.

- Refs 1 and 2 appear to have expired.
- Ref 23 has an available author.
- The rsssf sites have available authors at the bottom of the page, in these cases it's Barrie Courtney, not the actual website.
