France–Netherlands borderSaint Martin–Sint Maarten border – The current title may mislead readers into thinking France and the Netherlands border each other in Europe. Interstellarity (talk) 20:10, 19 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

It should be noted that the Saint Martin–Sint Maarten border is unique in that the border on the island is between neither France nor Netherlands themselves. In all other similar land borders, such as the cited Azerbaijan–Turkey border, France–Brazil border or Lithuania–Russia border / Poland–Russia border, one of the two countries is represented by its main territory. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 18:40, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Support More consistent with usage in reliable sources -- while the current title is certainly not inaccurate, the proposed one would both benefit readers and matches conventional usage.--Yaksar (let's chat) 18:03, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Given that the mother country (France and Netherlands) had no land border in Europe. Distance between France and NL was miles away in Europe. 36.77.132.76 (talk) 00:15, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. Very obvious. Current title is ridiculously confusing. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:36, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
