Flight 103 (disambiguation)Flight 103 – Move the disambiguation page to the base name over the current redirect to Pan Am Flight 103. "Flight 103" is ambiguous in Enwiki and extremely ambiguous in real life (in normal times): at any one time people referring to "Flight 103" will be concerned with that day's instantiation of one particular airline's "Flight 103". Of course Google will show many results for the Lockerbie tragedy, but that does not, in my opinion, mean that Pan Am Flight 103 is the primary topic for "Flight 103" without "Pan Am". • Extremely strong oppose. Both in terms of page views and long term significance, there is no question about primary topic. The suggestion that readers would use wikipedia to look up that day's instantiation of one particular airline's "Flight 103" is absurd. olderwiser 14:42, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per Bkonrad. And this is yet another RM at a disamb. page instead of at the main page which would be changed by the move. Randy Kryn (talk) 18:07, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • @Randy Kryn: I do not understand your criticism. This page does not propose moving anything other than the disambiguation page. Pan Am Flight 103 is not affected by this move, but I placed a "please see" note at Talk:Pan Am Flight 103 (and so did RMCD bot). Where else did you expect this discussion to take place? • You're right, struck. Still oppose per Bkonrad. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:33, 14 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
