Conger's status vis-a-vis the 16th New York Cavalry Regiment edit
According to [1] and [2], it doesn't appear technically correct to say that Conger was "in command of" or "assigned command" of the 16th New York Cavalry detachment that captured Booth. Those sources state that the detachment was led by Lieutenant Edward P. Doherty, so I've reworded this article accordingly, adding the sources as refs. JGHowes talk - 16:29, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
