Added reference

I'm an amateur music critic (I'm recognized by Neurodisc Records, at least, which I hope gives me some credibility), and I run a site that supports a previous author's assertion that Era could be described as "New Age", and has a similar sound to artists Enigma and Deep Forest. These assertions were flagged as "citation needed," so I added a reference to my site. If anyone familiar with this style of music reads this, may I suggest some rewording:

"The music could be described as New Age and can be considered similar to artists such as Enigma and Deep Forest[1]. Their music mixes classical music, opera, and Gregorian chants with rock music and other contemporary styles. "

should be changed to:

"Era's music combines elements of Gregorian Chant, New Age, Dance, and Rock music with other contemporary styles, and could be described as similar to artists such as Enigma and Deep Forest[1]. "

I would make this change myself, but I think that would count as original research. Here is my justification for the change:

There's no real reason to seperate the "New Age" comment from the other genre references. I hear no operatic or classical elements in Era's music other than Plainchant (already listed as the less accurate but more commonly known "Gregorian Chant"), which is more specific than "classical." Many genres make use of string sections, so I don't think Era's use of strings justifies a "classical" listing, either. I justify the addition of "Dance" with the use of synthesizers, some electronic drums, and the vocal style of Lena Jinnegren on albums "Era 2" and "The Mass".

Fake album Infinity

Even if discogs points out Infinity (1998) as an album from Era, this is not reported as one of the release albums from Era on their official site: [1] so this should be a fake as reported on its comment page on last.fm [2] and should be removed as well —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sonixant (talk • contribs) 17:40, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Era's record company is "Universal Music, France", not "Mercury".

The Wikipedia article on Era states that they use Mercury Records as their recording company, but on visiting the Island/Defjam/Mercury Records web site, I found no record of an artist named either "Eric Levi" or "Era". Amazon.com sells Era albums and indicates they use "Univeral International", but there is no such record company. There is a "Univeral Music", but their web site has no record of "Eric Levi" or "Era". So I was getting a bit puzzled.

Then on a whim, I checked the "Unviversal Music France" website (www.universalmusic.fr), and on page 8 of the "E" section of their "Artists" list, they have Era listed:

So Wikipedia's articles on "Era" and "Era Discography" should be updated to give the correct record company, "Universal Music, France", instead of "Mercury", which is incorrect. Use of "Enae Volare Mezzo" for Northwestern Mutual 2012 commercial - true/reliable source?

I saw on the Northwestern Mutual Facebook page (by someone not officially representing the company) that the music used for in the company's 2012 NCAA commercial is based on ""Enae Volare Mezzo". Is there a reliable source for this - other than Youtube recordings of it (which do seem different - perhaps there is some other piece of modern music that is closer to the NWM music) Jimw338 (talk) 23:26, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
