This afternoon's project. Courcelles (talk) 14:27, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Source the height and weight in the infobox.
  • "1947–199 Hamilton Wildcats" I think you mean 1949?
  • "played for the Hamilton Wildcats for several years" For three seasons? Instead of the vague several?
  • "Position(s) Tackle/G" Spell them both out?
  • I'd re-arrange the Later Life section to put the stuff he did before he died before his actual death (i.e. the Kiwanis and golfing.)

That's all I've got, a fine read indeed. Courcelles (talk) 14:37, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the review! Just heading out the door, but I should be able to take care of these later tonight, when I can make sure they are done properly. I'll ping you when finished. Canadian Paul 14:42, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing, no rush. Courcelles (talk) 16:53, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Courcelles: I believe I have taken care of all of the above concerns; the only thing I can't figure out how to do is get the citations for the height/weight to come after the automatic conversion, which makes the lines look a little ugly. Canadian Paul 17:04, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'll try and fiddle with it when I get to a real computer. Courcelles (talk) 17:52, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Just a thought – given that height and mass are referenced within the prose, does it really need referencing in the infobox? An infobox is supposed to provide a summary of the article and, much like a lead, shouldn't (generally) need references if the article itself is properly referenced. Meh, you're likely right. I'll withdraw the point. Courcelles (talk) 19:25, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
