Jetix CEE to be split in two channels edit

It appears that Jetix Russia is being separated from Jetix Romania and Bulgaria. If one can read Cyrillic, one can see in http://www.jetix.ru/ and http://www.jetix.ro that they now have different schedules. The main difference is that the new Disney block is only available in Bulgaria and Romania. It will be good if this article is split, probably a bit later though, since the state of this is somewhat unclear (Jetix RO & BG still has a Russian track on all but the Disney shows, where the audio falls back to English). --Mégara (Мегъра) - D. Image copyright problem with Image:Jetix.png edit

The image Image:Jetix.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Page move edit

I propose that this page is moved to "Jetix Central and Eastern Europe". The main reason for this is because this channel is listed so in the Eutelsat channel list, and also because it is not only intended for Romania and Russia, but also for Bulgaria. --Mégara (Мегъра) - D. Disney Channel move edit

Disney Channel is going to replace Jetix in Romania and Bulgaria on 2009-09-19, so this page will have to be reorganized. Now there are two pages - Disney Channel Romania and Disney Channel Bulgaria, but will there be two separate channels?? Unknown. Maybe even not. Maybe they will be a multilingual channel after all. But, this will only become clearer in September, when the switch of names finally happens. Perhaps after that time this article should be called "Jetix (Russia)", because there will be no Jetix in the rest of the region. If Disney Channel Romania and Bulgaria do turn out to be one channel, then the current articles should be merged.--Mégara (Мегъра) - D. G. Mavrov (talk) 23:04, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
