This page should not be speedily deleted because... Delphine Galou is an internationally reknowned singer -
there are plenty of other singers of her calibre on Wiki. I just noticed that she had no page so I trhought it would be a good idea to create on for her - because it is quite an omission. I have no connection to Delphine and don't know much about her =as evidenced by my page - but I was recently at a concern at which she sung and thought that it was odd that of the four world reknowned soloists she was the only one NOT to have a page. I listened on the radio. Singing in the company of the other booked artists shows notability for me - even though Susan Gritton wasn't able to actually perform. Needs more/better references, though. Peridon (talk) 22:09, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

This could very well have been cut and pasted straight from the artist's personal web page, complete with puffery. If is not encyclopedic. One should give the original editor a month to remove the subjective editorialising, and to substantiate all of the purported factual content from third-party sources—otherwise the bulk of this article (all unsupported content) should be removed from view. To leave such a promotional piece sets a bad example, and is an embarassment to WP and its principles. And I say this as a fan of the artist.
