Untitled edit

1989? I remember Danny Davis being part of the WWF as late as 1993, when he appeared at WrestleMania IX.

I noticed this as well and updated accordingly. I placed his last year as 1995, as he was still reff'ing then; for example, Royal Rumble 1995, which I just watched recently.

OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling)??? edit

Didn't Danny Davis own OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) which use to be a WWE developmental territory until recently?? WWE severed ties with them and opened their own FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling) facility.. OVW was just recently bought by JBL (John Bradshaw Layfield). I know JBL bought OVW from Dangerous Danny Davis and I am pretty sure it is the same Danny Davis. Anyway, if it is, shouldn't it be noted in the article? 69.248.229.206 (talk) 23:10, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

That was a different Danny Davis (Daniel Briley). GaryColemanFan (talk) 03:12, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for clearing that up for me. Wasn't exactly sure, just assumed it was the same Danny Davis. Turned out it wasn't. Thanks for the clear up.

Dan MarshDangerous Danny Davis

  • It's his most common name. Consensus in the talk page of Nightmare Danny Davis. HHH Pedrigree (talk) 22:16, 11 January 2013 (UTC) --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 22:16, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I'd be more for just plain Danny Davis, but that could cause some disambiguation confusion. Support "Dangerous Danny Davis", all things considered. Few people have likely heard of "Dan Marsh". InedibleHulk (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support seeing as Danny Davis is already a disambiguation page... Dan Marsh, not his ring name so definitely not as popular. Starship.paint (talk) 23:31, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Is it possible to make the kayfabe/reality distinction clearer? edit

Most of the career info is written without hinting at the booked nature of events. (E.g., his refereeing style probably didn't actually anger wrestlers – that was just part of the angle developed for him.) Shouldn't the article make it a bit clearer that much of it is describing a scripted storyline? I'd add a sentence to this effect myself, but my pro wrestling knowledge is rather limited, and I don't want to accidentially spread misinformation. --Baumi (talk) 09:23, 27 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Living people edit

Do we really need a category for Living people? Bagna cauda (talk) 12:39, 21 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yes. Please see the rationale at Category:Living people. Tassedethe (talk) 19:03, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
