Updates edit

@INeedSupport, Super Typhoon Eden, and Jasper Deng: Hey, could you guys please halt your updates for about an hour while I get this MH done properly with all the citations from JTWC and New Delhi? I probably wont need all that time, but I want to get this fixed up ASAP. NoahTalk 19:12, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Hurricane Noah: Sorry. I did see the message but I couldn't help myself but fixed some inaccuracies. I won't make another edit until the message is removed. INeedSupport :3 19:17, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Hurricane Noah: I saw the message, yes, and fixed inaccurate and misleading values. Some categories are in the wrong place so I fixed those too. I'll wait for you to finish, RecentEditsMessage me here! 20:59, 30 April 2019 [UTC]

@INeedSupport: I added most of what needs to be there for now. Keep in mind all the references you listed for the IMD will NOT work as they are also removed as soon as the next one is posted. You will need to archive them in order to keep them. NoahTalk 20:18, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Hurricane Noah: Got it. Thanks for telling me that! INeedSupport :3 20:28, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@INeedSupport: Hope the updates I made help. You should probably adjust the lead now. Formation and naming date had a big change from what was originally here. NoahTalk 20:31, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Hurricane Noah:. Thanks for your update. Seems like other editors updated the lead. I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to updating things. INeedSupport :3 20:35, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I added the 8 deaths yesterday per the source. NoahTalk 21:56, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I think Andhra Pradesh deserves a mention in the list of states affected by cyclone Fani instead of Uttar Pradesh. Sibnath24 (talk) 07:00, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge of Effects of Cyclone Fani in Odisha into Cyclone Fani edit

Apart from some rewriting & rearrangement & few extra lines, this article is same as Cyclone Fani. See comparison (note: i used Earwig's Copyvio Detector for comparison only). Cyclone Fani is not a big article. I see no good justification for this article. We can easily fit those few extra line in Cyclone Fani. This article should be merge into that. আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 17:27, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Support merge. Fani's article is nowhere near the acceptable size for splitting and should grow much further before forking becomes a possibility. Cutting out the Odisha impact results in an imbalance in Fani's article, since Odisha was the primary area of impact. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 05:51, 3 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support, per KN2731. MarioJump83! 22:32, 6 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Slight support Cyclone Fani's article is still small and I do think this could be merged. 🌀HurricaneCovid🌀 (contribs) 19:10, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Merge. Hurricanehink mobile (talk) 20:32, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Strong Support – The impacts article is currently a near-duplicate of the main article, and it hasn't even been updated. Also, the main article is nowhere near the readable prose limit. First, focus on expanding the main article before even considering forking out content into a separate article. The articles will be better off merged together.
