3D edit

Does any one know if the film will be released in only a 3D format or only in selected theaters that support Real-3D format?(Movieman72 (talk) 23:15, 20 June 2009 (UTC))Reply

It's gonna be in 3D and not in 3D!! And... it's going to be in Imax...or IS in Imax!!

In Jokes edit

I was struck by the number of joke references to other films, the styling referenced various science fiction films from the 70's/80s. The flying car bore more than a passing resemblance to the Delorian in Back to the Future. The food factory in the sky was the attack on the death star with elements of early Star Trek. Even the door code reader was a 'simon' game.

Does this sort of stuff belong on WP?

Random Statments edit

I just remvoed some statments that seemed to be out of left field and didn't make any sense. (Just watched the movie last night)

In the 1st paragraph was the following statment: "the Mayor the 1970's disco man.(Bruce Campbell) and "Baby" Brent the brat of demon child from school of triton,"

In the 2nd was the following: "Sam told Flint about her past with evil children and is going to attack in kids remind You Are All Diseased."

Neither made any sense so I trimed out the wierd stuff.192.249.47.165 (talk) 16:55, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sounds like you removed some vandalism. Well done, but no need to mention it on the talk page. Klopek007 (talk) 08:10, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

16x9 regarded as "full screen" edit

Sometimes I feel commenting on the talk page about an edit comes across as whining, but this[1] seems like it should get some attention. The DVD & Blu-ray releases have the film as "full screen" and widescreen, but unlike most discs offering that, they are 16x9 and CinemaScope. Though there are plenty of examples of home video releases that crop CinemaScope to 16x9, this is notable for having both versions and offering a different definition of "full screen" and it's rare, possibly the only time this has been done, thereby warranting a mention. I may have gone overboard with the references, but feel this would justify an inclusion in the home media section. I'll in time restore it, but worry that someone will make another snap judgement that it shouldn't be mentioned at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.194.102.141 (talk) 02:09, 13 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Music edit

No mention of the song Sirius (instrumental) by The Alan Parsons Project being used in the film. Or Fight the Power by Public Enemy nor 'Promises' by Trevor Rabin' 2001:56A:F414:D300:B4AF:A557:9E26:1583 (talk) 00:18, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Composers" edit

Apparently no one has noticed that this was vandalism. None of them composed the score. (CC) Tbhotch 19:10, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Marketing budget edit

The marketing budget figures were sourced from Wikileaks as a result of the Sony hack. Someone thought it was constructive to delete the reference[3] and replace it with a citation needed tag, and leaving it looking like as if the information had never been sourced in the first place!

Another reference containing this same information is highly unlikely, and leaving a {{citation needed}} request is just a waste of other editors time and effort. While it would be nice to be able to include specific marketing figures, ultimately it is not an essential detail because it is already clear the film was profitable enough to justify a sequel.

I am going to remove[4] the no longer adequately sourced information but I leave this note as a full explanation to other editors in the unlikely event anyone should wish to try and find an alternative reference. -- 109.78.196.114 (talk) 08:39, 14 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
