Linking to a discography resource
editI contributed by adding a new link to the musician's page. Wikipedia puts enormous weight on relying on Discogs and MusicBrainz as resources but I find that the external link I was adding [1] is as much, if not more, a useful resource to provide the user. I didn't know that this is considered 'spam' - if it is, I apologize but I think the link was reverted quickly without a second glance as to the merit of the resource. Carl Newman → A. C. Newman – WP:COMMONNAME. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 19:20, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose WP:UCN, he's been known as Carl Newman for his entire career and is still more commonly known as Carl Newman. He goes by A.C. only as a solo artist. ChakaKongtalk 16:43, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support. The dominant form should be from his work as a solo artist. See, for example, his website.--Mike Selinker (talk) 05:50, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
