editNot sure that "real life examples" is the most appropriate phrasing. Georgeslegloupier 12:57, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
I'm removing "real-life examples" section because there are probably dozens of examples that could be listed. Also, I am not sure about comparison with the Bali Nine. Georgeslegloupier 13:10, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
- You're right about the title and the Bali Nine, but the story of Schapelle Corby bears some striking resemblances to the film, and is a relevant addition. I was astonished when I saw the film about a month after learning Corby's story. I added a section to the article detailing some of the similarities.
- Also, in one of the special features on the DVD, the writer or director elucidated on how the film was based on a true story. A summary of that commentary would be appropriate for the real-life similarities section. --DDerby-(talk) 13:29, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
I don't know how you can say the Corby case is relevant as it occurs five years after the film is released. Unless your saying Corby is basing her denials on the film. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.139.116.199 (talk • contribs)
Noting interesting similarities would be original research. Andjam 13:31, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Absolutely. The above 2 comments are correct - a "similar" case that happened 5 years after this movie's release has ZERO relevance in an encyclopedia article, and as Andjam stated, noting any similarities is original research. I've removed the Schapelle Corby section as is clearly does not belong here. Saikokira 19:54, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

- He doesn't happen to say what true story it's based on? (or possibly can't, for fear of either getting himself or someone else into international troubles) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jimw338 (talk • contribs) 20:11, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
Is this a true story?
editI've heard this is a true story, and would like to know whether this is true or not. Also if it is true then it needs to be noted in the article 3bay sam 06:34, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

nudity?
editwas there nudity in this film? wikipedia should include that on every movie page.66.195.36.133 (talk) 21:32, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- There was a scene with some minor nudity in the film. I don't think every movie's wiki article needs to include whether a movie has nudity in it or not, except maybe as an extension of how the movie was rated (to be listed in the movie's side-bar summary only) unless the nudity in the movie was unusually significant in some manner (for example, the movie 9 Songs). — al-Shimoni (talk) 15:55, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
