@Arg342: Thank you for this very intereting article. I recommend introducing the "Stop and Proceed" rule at an earlier stage, e.g. "The "Stop and Proceed" railway rule at the time permitted the 7:40 to move ahead cautiously after waiting at a stop signal for two minutes." instead of "Railway rules at the time ..." However, it is stated later that this "rule was unheard of in Britain", which makes me wonder. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 09:37, 26 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
