Aiuto! edit

I think this article has the potential of becoming the first featured article on an automobile brand/company, mostly because there isn't THAT much to be said about it and there are some good sources online. I have mebarked on a mission to expand it and related articles, but I guess I need a short WikiBreak from that, as I started to hate the article. I have dumped some stuff into the body, but now that I read it I guess my consciousness and language skills switched off halfway through - I am so ashamed of the rubbish I wrote I don't even want to touch it, so I haven't corrected it :(

In the meantime while I will be recovering from Autobianchi-fobia, some issues can be addressed by other merciful editors:

  1. Structure - at first, I thought it would be a good idea to have sections referring to particular automobiles and their "eras" for Autobianchi, but then I have changed my mind at some point :D Looking for good ideas now :D
    1. A supplementary question - do sections that work as "summaries" of other articles ("Main article: Stuff") need references or not (provided that the article summarized has them)? In case they do, the brilliant idea of economizing on them is less brilliant and the article should perhaps be restructured.
  2. There is still some information to be transferred from the sources referenced, as well as sources cited in the individual model pages (mostly subpages of the same websites). I do not speak Italian or French, if you don't either, use Google Translate ;)
  3. Another good source I have found and haven't used at all - the Registro Autobianchi itself! It contains a lot of interesting info (in Italian...): [1] (Google Translation linked to, Italian speakers please click "View Original Web Page").
  4. Speaking of which, using automatic translators is never a perfect solution, even if one is aware of their caveats and peculiarities of given languages. So, all native speakers of French and Italian can do the WikiWorld a favor and check how much was lost in translation (and how much rubbish I managed to generate on my own :D ).
  5. Did I mention it's perfectly OK to try to find MORE sources, especially hardcopy, and expand/correct individual model pages? :D
  6. Some things that it would be good to establish:
    1. Non-Autobianchi cars made in Desio - are they all listed by the "additional source"? Is there a way we can prove that? IS there a good source about Fiat factories in general?
    2. The Giardinera - was it marketed as Autobianchi Giardinera or Bianchina Giardinera and during what periods?
    3. The badge featured in the article is probably one from a A112, and it appears to have the original Autobianchi logo composed into an inverted Lancia shield. Was this logo used on all A112s, only export models or in some periods and was it used on the Y10? There was also an earlier logo, composed of the letters A and B. Would be good to find out something about the history of the logos.
    4. Has Autobianchi participated OFFICIALLY in motorsports as a manufacturer before the A112?
    5. Perhaps minor, but how was Autobianchi absorbed into Fiat? Did it cease to exist as a separate legal entity, or did it just become a 100% subsidiary?
    6. ...add your stuff here!

Thanks in advance to all the merciful editors who will decide to contribute to this and related articles!

Possible copyright problem? edit

It seems this page is either copied from or to this web page. The page includes copyright notes and doesn't seem to satisfy the GFDL license. Should something be done? -- Piisamson (talk) 18:49, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not sure about it, if you look the history from 2004 there is same wording, and that pages says Copyright © 2005 - 2007 Randall Glover, All rights reserved. --— Typ932T | C  19:29, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
More, if you look other brands, they are copied from Wikipedia eg. Alfa Romeo, so that webpage has wrong copyright info. --— Typ932T | C  19:31, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
