LouisAragon; Perhaps we could change it to Aslan Khan Daghestani? which basically implies that he was from Daghestan, just like his brother Fath-Ali Khan Daghestani. So nothing historical incorrect there, what do you think? --HistoryofIran (talk) 23:53, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I initially named it "Daghestani" instead of "governor of Astarabad". Sure, lets do it. Floor uses "Aslan Khan Daghestani" as well in his Titles and Emoluments in Safavid Iran: A Third Manual of Safavid Administration, by Mirza Naqi Nasiri (p. 225). Its rather a matter of preference in this case imho. - LouisAragon (talk) 00:57, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
@HistoryofIran:, I just tried to do it. Seems it got bugged or something, as I already once changed the name from "Aslan Khan Daghestani" to "Aslan Khan (governor of Astarabad)". Not sure, but I believe we need admin assistance? - LouisAragon (talk) 01:04, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
LouisAragon; Yep. --HistoryofIran (talk) 01:50, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Aslan Khan (governor of Astarabad)Aslan Khan Daghestani – Made a small mistake when changing the title to "Aslan Khan (governor of Astarabad)". Please revert my change back. LouisAragon (talk) 01:54, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
