Two Margarets ?

Its not unusual at all to have two children with the same name, but only if the first one is deceased. It seems implausible to name a second daughter, Margaret, in 1610, if the first Margaret ( 1605-1618 ) is still living.Tallewang (talk) 08:36, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

According to Leo van de Pas[1], the first is Marguerite(1405-1418), the second is Margarethe(1420-1479). --Kansas Bear (talk) 08:54, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

I want to add this for those interested in genealogy. I am pretty sure both sources I gave are well reseached and further supporting evidence can be extracted from the Wikipedia articles.

Antipope Felix V → Amadeus VIII, Duke of Savoy – These two articles should be swapped with the Amadeus article being the main page and Felix V being the redirect. As antipope, Amadeus was recognised only by the Council of Florence and briefly by a few select countries. His position as antipope is an historical footnote. Meanwhile, his role as first Duke of Savoy is an important step in the progression of Savoy from an Imperial county to the future Kingdom of Sardinia and Italy. Had Amadeus been a true and recognised pope, I would have no complaints, but he was not and so his highest recognised title should be the one used for his Wikipedia article. Furthermore, he abdicated as "pope" and never abandoned his ducal title. Finally, unlike the listings for other antipopes on Wikipedia, Amadeus actually has a full Imperial title outside of his pretentious papal title, thus providing him with a better and more factual alternative option. The article for the other languages are split on this issue, but of the three most important – French, Italian, and German – the former two both use his name Amadeus rather than Felix. Let us recognise Amadeus for the important ducal transitional figure that he was, and not for the strange moment in his life when he pretended to something he never actually possessed.  – Whaleyland (Talk • Contributions) 00:10, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
