In the article about Anne Wolfe, it was stated that she won titles in four different weight divisions. Jr. Middleweight and light middleweight have a 154 pound limit. Super middleweight has a 168 pound limit. Light heavyweight has a 175 pound limit. What is the fourth division ?

her loss

edit

I find this article too favorable. The fact is, in men's boxing it is against current boxing rules to have a belt in more than one weight class. This should be mentioned. Also, Wolfe's loss to Valerie Mahfood is not mentioned. It is her only loss and therefore should be mentioned.

I am not so sure that is the rule....I recall male fighters who have recently held two titles at once...but it is almost imposible to hold belts in many divisions because most organizations require you to defend you title on some type of regular basis..and to gain weight, and drop weight..in such a way that your soild, takes time....so its hard to do multiple weight divisons...with wolfe..she was so dominate over women, that she could throw on weight any old way and be fine...also the organizations may have been a bit more lax with her and women boxing in general. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.46.89 (talk) 10:13, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I corrected this to say only three weight divisions, since Jr. Middleweight and Light Middleweight are the same weight class. You can't count each alphabet title as a different weight division. Djcastel 21:12, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fight against Bo Skipper?

edit

I've found various sources on the web announcing a historyc match between Ann Wolfe and male boxer "Bo Skipper" that was scheduled for October 15, 2005. This, being the "first sanctioned intergender bout in boxing history", seems notable for this entry, but I am reluctant to add it, as I am not able to find any sources confirming the fight actually took place, or who won. Does anyone have anything on this? ---Jackel 16:33, 18 October 2006 (UTC) the fight was signed, but it was cancelled. it was supposed to be in louisiana.Reply
