Monkfish in what sense? edit

As one discovers in following the link to monkfish, this term is used of two quite different animals. My guess is that the sushi is made from angelshark liver rather than anglerfish liver, but this is speculation on my part and I don't know how to be sure. My reasoning is that the anglerfish "monkfish" is an Atlantic creature, hence unlikely to figure in Japanese or Japanese-derived cuisine, whereas the angelshark is apparently found near Japan. --Haruo (talk) 05:49, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
