editFull disclosure on potential conflict of interest: I (Flipzagging) started this page, and I know Andy Baio personally. I worked for him for a year, from about December 2006 to November 2007. We are not close friends but we are friendly. Following his departure from Yahoo, he is not my boss any more, and we only email occasionally.
I really feel that Andy Baio ought to have his own Wikipedia page, as he is a person of wide renown in the technology and blogging communities. When he left Yahoo, many people remarked that his going-away party was like a who's who of the so-called "Web 2.0" community.
I have tried to make this first stab as objective as possible and provided numerous references. While there are a lot of links to Baio's blog, (Waxy.org) this is not an attempt to boost PageRank. It seemed necessary to provide proper citation.
