On 24th November 2023, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic accused Amir Gross on X (formerly Twitter) of a targeted campaign of harassment and threats against herself and her immediate family. This was in relation to the ongoing war in Gaza and the Mayor's condemnation of the targeting of civilians by Israel.
