Source of the RandomPlanetEarth photo was personal correspondence from Allan Schnaiberg to Peter Jennings, Sydney, Australia. Used with permission from Mr. Jennings. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 13:27, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Update: the photo was taken on 14 July 2007 by Alan Thomas <http://www.alan-thomas.com>. Used with permission. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 21:34, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

A nice, relatively recent photo of Allan Schnaiberg is available at: http://randommanplanetearth.blogspot.com/2009/06/allan-schnaiberg.html. Not sure of the source of that photo, any copyrights it may have, nor how to link to/ upload that image to this page. Another, stock photo from Northwestern University is available at: http://www.sociology.northwestern.edu/faculty/schnaiberg/images/schnaiberg.gif. Assistance in getting any necessary permissions and in executing the necessary Wikipedia markup/ image submission procedures necessary to include at least one of these pix in this entry would be most welcome.
