The list of programmers in the in-game credits[1] and also in the in-box packaging is given in the order Beaton, Whittaker, Pooler. All of the contemporary references about the game list Beaton as main and/or lead programmer, and this is (still) correctly reflected in the body of this article.
However there have been at least two different occasions now where edits from anonymous IP addresses have moved Whittaker to the top of the programmer list. (Most recently, this change seems to have happened in amongst a bunch of other strange - and still anonymous - edits and reverts; previously it occurred together with misleading changes to the body of the article.)
I'm mentioning this here since this has happened more than once, so that anybody else reverting any page changes and/or apparent vandalism can bear this in mind when deciding which list order to revert to.
