editI messed up some of the coding on the front page regarding battles and sources. Can someone please fix it? :)

"Evil I"
editIt doesn't seem that "Evil I" was a nickname of the ship when Vraciu would have served with the 6th, since kamikaze strikes occurred after the 6th had departed post-Truk and the 18th had taken their place. I can find many references to "Dry I" for its time in dry dock as a result of its initial scrape with Panamanian cliffs and the torpedo it took to the rudder, but "Evil I" seems like a post-1944 nickname. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Finktron (talk • contribs) 04:14, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
is it possible? Confirmed?
editAfter Vraciu landed, the ordnancemen on Lexington discovered that he had used only 360 rounds of ammunition. (On average, each of the six kills followed a burst lasting less than five seconds.)[14]
Then Vraciu should have fired NOT 5 second per engagement, but 360:6 = 60/12.5 rd/s: 6 guns = less than 1 second per kill!!! I wonder if this is a plain HOAX. Even McDonald, when shot down (or so he declared) 9 aircraft (that were only fighters) he used totally except 2-6 rds the over 2,000 rds available! Atleast, if we could believe this, he used 250 rds for each shooting. Really, this so small amount of ammo seems to me really TOO LOW, or the Judy's were vulnerable like a flying gas tank? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.11.0.22 (talk) 20:55, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
