External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Alan Pierson. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20111028013811/http://bphil.org:80/bphilwp/about/artistic/ to http://bphil.org/bphilwp/about/artistic/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

I'm the subject of this page, and would like for it to be updated to reflect that my relationship with David Herszenson ended in 2017. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alanpierson (talk • contribs) 20:07, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

edit- No sources have been provided with this request, while the claim in the article is referenced by the New York Times. Wikipedia is run on sourcing, so references should be provided for the claims made in its articles.
- Making the change based on your word alone is problematic, since it is theoretically possible for any user to have opened the account that you're using now.
- Since there was no confirmation performed at the time your account was created more than 11 1⁄2 years ago, it has been suggested that you confirm your identity to Wikipedia through the Open-source Ticket Request System, or OTRS.
- By going to the following link at Wikipedia:Contact OTRS you will see an email address (info-en@wikimedia.org) which you can use to identify yourself to Wikipedia. In your email to them, please describe the situation (who you are, and the article that this is concerning) and that you would like to confirm your identity by offering proof that you are the Alan Pierson whom the article is about.
- Once this email is sent, you should receive a reply with further instructions.
- After confirmation is received from OTRS, please reopen this request by altering the
{{request edit}}
template's answer parameter to read from|ans=yes
to|ans=no
.
If you have any questions about this process please don't hesitate to ask myself, or you may ask another editor at the help desk. Regards, Spintendo 21:24, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
