Prod? edit

why is my page going to be deleted? I have added references and also have categorised them. Also it's not that small in size.

The page is only nominated for Speedy Deletion. This does not mean it will be. The decision is up to an Admin. The size of an article has no bearing on its longevity. I have seen very long articles deleted and very short articles stay. ttonyb1 (talk) 07:22, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

CSD not justified edit

Last I checked "not a howto" is not a proper CSD justification. Also, if the recipe is removed then that complaint is no longer pertinent. Noah 07:46, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I will try to improve the article, but why should I remove the recipe from this article? What's the point behind that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ssaa08 (talkcontribs) 08:13, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a how-to guide. If we started allowing every recipe to be on articles, it would get out of control. Are there secondary sources as to the history of Ada, where it came from, maybe cultural uses? That kind of information would be more appropriate. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 09:41, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I will try to find out more of that kind of information and add them..Thanks for all your help.

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bprokerala\.com\b on the local blacklist

If you would like me to provide more information on the talk page, contact User:Cyberpower678 and ask him to program me with more info.
