Elva Hsiao (traditional Chinese: 蕭亞軒; simplified Chinese: 萧亚轩; pinyin: Xiāo Yǎxuān, born 24 August 1979) is a Taiwanese singer and actress.

BiographyEdit

Hsiao was educated at John Casablanca's College in Vancouver, Canada. In 1998, she attended the New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition, and she became one of the twelve finalists. In 1999, she released her debut self-titled album.

Hsiao featured in two films, Infernal Affairs (2002) and The Butterfly Lovers (2004).

Hsiao has appeared in commercials in Taiwan to promote different brands, for example, Motorola, Sprite, De Beers, Avon and, Pantene.[2]

In 2010, after years of speculation from netizens, she admitted at a public event she had received a double eyelid surgery.[3]
