Inline citations

edit

Maryam.mgs, I have fixed up a bunch of things, and more remains, but before you go any further with your translation, you should know that there is one serious problem with the draft that needs attention first, as there is no chance that the Draft will be approved in its current state, and that is the lack of inline citations. Currently, the article has general references, but this is not enough. Please read about English Wikipedia's WP:Verifiability policy, and the requirement for inline citations to reliable sources. Before you continue expanding the translation, you should add inline citations to the draft in its current state. Mathglot (talk) 18:00, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop publishing automatic translation

  Courtesy link: Google automatic translation of Japanese article

  Maryam.mgs, please stop publishing automatic translation as content in this Draft. it is clear from an examination of your contributions to this article that you are copying the results of Google automatic translation of the Japanese article into the Draft. Here is a comparison from the first couple of lines from the body of your Draft, and Google's automatic translation of it:

Google translation of Japanese article from revision 99623971 of 09:58, 14 March:
After graduating from the National High School, he was hired by Tamamizu-ya, a long-established eyeglass store in Nagoya City , due to his dexterity . [1] When he was there, he heard from the wife of an American military officer that she had contact lenses , but was unable to see them. This inspired him to start developing lenses on his own. [1]}

Your draft, from revision 1230077027 of 13:56, 20 June 2024:
After graduating from the National High School , he was hired by Tamamizu-ya, a long-established eyeglass store in Nagoya City , due to his dexterity . When he was there, he heard from the wife of an American military officer that she had contact lenses , but was unable to see them. This inspired him to start developing lenses on his own.

Use of unedited machine translation is highly discouraged, and in addition, serves no purpose as anybody can go to Google translate and get an updated version of the translation against the newest version of the Japanese article, whereas your version will be a petrified translation of an old version. Please stop expanding the article using unedited machine translation, and fix up the problems in the current Draft before continuing. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 18:49, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
