  • Keep, at least Cavalry and Pacific. Maybe these templates were created too soon, however these clubs are likely to compete in several significant matches in the near future. No sense in deleting them. They also make the individual articles (e.g. 2021 Canadian Premier League Final) appear more complete and demonstrate impartiality. After taking into account WP:FILMNAV, which discourages the inclusion of filmographies, and noting that the discography and awards links lead to sections of the main article (as opposed to being separate articles), we're ultimately left with an insufficient number of links to merit a navbox as there are too few articles to navigate between. ✗plicit 14:45, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Repeat of comment Thank you for pinging me. At the previous TfD I asked Consistency is fine, but why merge into Template:Infobox baseball team and not Template:Infobox MLB?     Currently, only current MLB teams use {{Infobox MLB}}, so former MLB teams like Montreal Expos and Brooklyn Dodgers use {{Infobox baseball team}}. I think further down the road the two templates could and should align closer, but right now that's how the two are used. So even if we were to grant Negro league teams "Major league" status, they would still resort to using {{Infobox baseball team}} per above reasoning for now. –Aidan721 (talk) 23:49, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    Actually, it's just an infobox template & no reader would know any difference. It's just a matter of formatting & appropriate parameters can be adjusted to handle a Negro league franchise.   • Support The most important aspect of infobox mergers in my opion are if they are implementable without losses and if there will be benefits from switching over. In this case it seems clear that both of these are the case. Looking at {{Infobox Negro League franchise}} it's fields are very limited with a bunch of the ones in {{Infobox baseball team}} being potentially relevant for Negro League teams and all the ones in the Negro League infobox being quite easy to convert over. It also looks like {{Infobox baseball team}} is preferable over {{infobox MLB}} as this template is much more widely used and merging there wouldn't be consistent with that templates current uses. --Trialpears (talk) 16:56, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • support, it looks like these can be fairly easily converted to use {{infobox baseball team}}, with some minor format differences. the only parameter that wasn't easily converted was |Allyears=, but we can changes those to founded/disbanded as they are converted.
