Delete I have removed the transclusion from MediaWiki:Newarticletext. Unconfirmed users would never see this message anyway, since they are redirected to Wikipedia:New user landing page. I would speedy delete {{newarticletext-unconfirmed}} but there are multiple authors and it's unclear if WP:T3 applies. I was half thinking maybe we could repurpose this for non-extended confirmed users, since they are still new-ish and might benefit from this high-level notice, but that's for a separate discussion — MusikAnimal ^talk 15:23, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Delete slowly. Longstanding stuff once used in a system message but no longer useful probably shouldn't be speedy deleted (what if there's some potential use that a few of us haven't thought of), but unless someone can provide such a use, there's no purpose for retaining this.
