Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Achanak Group

I, Krishnav117, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please userfy or restore as appropriate. Krishnav117 (talk) 13:16, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Not done. There was nothing to restore: the deleted AfC submission contained only the two words "Achanak Group". Looking further, I see that there is a draft in your user space at User:Krishnav117/Achanak Group, Baramati which has not been deleted. You have not edited it since August but have never submitted it. You can submit any time it is ready, by clicking the "Submit the page!" button in the box at the top of the page, but in its present form it will not be accepted, because it does nothing to show why the group is notable enough to have an encyclopedia article. That would require references showing significant coverage in reliable independent secondary sources, in other words that people not connected with the group had thought it worth writing substantial comment about. stubby article is needed to open Fibrosis and related Concepts in Organ Diseases, Tumor Biology and Regenerative Medicine selected bibliography April 2013 and following ones becaus the bibliographies therein have too much template usage to run under a common article-title. Anatory Software

Anatory software is a well known entity among the Minecraft community, as well as a growing entity within the Android (operating system) community. Their plugins have amassed more than 33,000 downloads for individual servers directly from http://dev.bukkit.org, as well as almost 25,000 downloads for a single app in the Google Play store. The intention of creating this page was not to advertise the products, but instead to document the history and notability of a growing company. TheAmazingAtheist

He is much more notable since the last deletion of this page; he has been mentioned in countless 3rd-party sources by this point and has 125,000,000 YouTube views. That is 12 times as much as Karmin's "Hello", a song which has significant radio airplay and its own Wikipedia page, the existence of which is warranted only via awards which measure popularity. The only argument I could think of *against* including someone so obviously infamous is that their mentions will be mostly on websites and not traditional print media, but even then you can find mentions or coverage of him which lean more toward traditional media.[1] AlmaIV (talk) 17:35, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

I, Jgidley12, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please userfy or restore as appropriate. Jgidley12 (talk) 20:08, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Not done. The "Articles for creation" submission this refers to, which has just been deleted after 18 months, was actually blank: it contained only the words "Talk: George Eliot Rambeau". After submitting that, you did post the article George Eliot Rambeau direct into the encyclopedia, and it was deleted by admin Peridon (talk) for reasons he discussed with you on his talk page at User talk:Peridon/Archives/2011/November#Article Deletion 'George Eliot Rambeau'; so far as I can see, you never took the matter any further. If you can find better references so as to show the significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources required to establish notability in Wikipedia's sense, you will need in the first instance to show them to Peridon. I suggest you do that first, to avoid possible waste of time, but if you wish I can "userfy" the article - undelete it into a sub-page in your user space where you can work on it. Accurate Technologies Inc

The article for the Company Accurate Technologies Inc was selected for what you call a speedy deletion. I closely followed the “your first article” guidelines. I also found existing wikis such as this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ETAS_Group, who are in the same classification to influence my writing style. All resources were sited, and definitions tagged. There was no advertising in the article, just the impartial history of the company and its products. This company has been around for over 20 years. They are a part of ECU calibration history. They are not a conflict of interest to wiki, otherwise articles such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_Informatik and the one listed above should also be removed. I am happy to make changes, I just need more specific areas that you feel are in violation, I don't believe this qualified for a speedy deletion. Person that did deletion: Dewritech. Reason for deletion given: It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Because of the speedy deletion I was not able to present my notability argument. This is just a small list. I can provide more.

  • Sorry, but none of this is evidence of notability. Please consult the relevant policies and guidelines before creating further articles. --Randykitty (talk) 15:43, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
  • I am requesting the speedy delete be removed, so I can make your requested changes. "Speedy deletion is intended to reduce the time spent on deletion discussions for pages or media with no practical chance of surviving discussion." This article does stand a chance, because A. G11 states "Note: An article about a company or a product which describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion." This article was neutral. B.Stated in A7 The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source or does not qualify on Wikipedia's notability guidelines. If the claim's credibility is unclear, you can improve the article yourself, which I was not given a chance to do so. There are sources in this article, thus a claim of importance has been made. The proper 7 day debate should have taken effect, not a speedy deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rowebot86 (talkcontribs) 18:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
It does read as advertising, though not as bad as some, and I would not have deleted it under A7, but putting that aside, it cannot be undeleted because it was a copyright violation, having copied and pasted content from at least this page. Note that if you own the copyright to the text you copied and pasted, that would not save it. For us to use someone's copyrighted text (where it's suitable for inclusion here at all) it must be released under a free license that allows anyone in the world to freely redistribute it even for commercial purposes (except, of course, for short quotes, marked as quotations). You can see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for how that's done. In any event, the article contained no citations I can see to any reliable secondary sources that were independent of the subject. Think mainstream newspaper articles by journalists, magazine articles, books, etc., all writing about the subject (not just things mentioned in the article) in detail, by people who are completely unconnected to it. Please don't take the fact that some articles currently exist and might be similar;y situated as an indication of suitability. The fact that other articles are here and have not been deleted or had there problems addressed (yet) means very little. Please see WP:WAX.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:29, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
So I have to make these changes and resubmit the article? I don't want to risk this topic being blocked. You are the first person that has directly referenced the article and gave me definitive answers. It seems that all other comments have been default answers, as if they didn't even read the article. I fear because this is a company that this situation will consist, that is why I wanted the article opened for debate rather than speedy deleted. Speedy deletions don't give the writer the chance to see other peoples thought's, and make suggested changes such as the ones you mentioned. A speedy deletion puts the writer at risk of their topic being blocked, even if they make the necessary changes when resubmitting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rowebot86 (talk) 12:42, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Also the only thing that is similar to the website you pointed out is the structure, and the section terms. I did a comparison side by side for reference. The top examples are what was written in the wiki article.
I have removed your text as we can't be a host for a such a large swatch of copyrighted text, especially not outside of quotation marks. That, by the way, was the most promotional portion of the article, containing the most peacock language and corporate ad-speak. Without it, it would have had a much better chance of not having been found to be blatantly promotion. Anyway, it was irrelevant, since it wasn't the copyright violating text. It was the section below on Product History which contained, for example, directly copied and pasted from the website (but for the addition of one comma), "as its first emulation interface to enhance the capabilities of the new VISION software. The M5 and M6 memory emulators followed, and were the first of their kind, interfacing an ECU directly to a PC..." That is just a portion of the copied text. It will not be undeleted because of the copyvio, even if it would have been without. You can recreate without the copyvio, but if you are going to do so, the very first place to start is with gathering reliable secondary independent sources that show notability and verify the content. If they don't exist, the reality is: don't waste your time, the article will be deleted, if not immediately then later. If they do exist and you cite them instead of what was in the article before (and write it much more neutrally), then that has real potential. I suggest you do so, if at all, through the article wizard. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:45, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Neither of the incarnations of the article was remotely suitable as a Wikipedia article, and one of them, being a copyright infringement, would be illegal to restore. As I said It was just a draft of topic for I did not know it will be published immediatelly.

Pleas let me kknow if such a metodology can be shared with others through wikipedia, or if this is unpropriate, I will choose different media for.

I would like to say that application of the methodology can have big implact of LOgistics global chains and it should not be related to my person only. It should become open know-how

Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about people. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning people will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Lots of real actors will never achieve sufficient notability to have articles here. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:24, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Dear Wikipedia; I have just recieved your notice that proposed entries greater than 6 months old are deleted (Or, so is my understanding of the message I have recieved from you'se....At least that is my working basis from which I am trying to contact you...) I am not the only person that has tried to get an entry on a 10 year old community organization in Albuquerque. I did put a significant amount of effort into it in November of 2011 and was trying to uphold the documentation requirements. I was in the process of fact checking (some of the endorphon power companies own references to itself were misprinted... I was trying to contact the source paper (the Weekly Alibi, a local newspaper. Long story short, I both got busy and had my computor crash on me.

Anyway, since I got your notification (perhaps again... I do not recall if one was sent earlier) I would like to start up again and finish the project this time. I do believe the organization is worthy of an entry.

thanks,

New Jersey Hammerheads

The team is notable because it competes in the highest level of professional ultimate frisbee play in the world, the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). While young, it still has attracted a large fan base and competes across the Untied States and Canada against other professional ultimate frisbee teams. It is as notable as many other low level pro teams in leagues such as the Independent Women's Football League, the Professional Lacrosse League, or the Rugby Super League; all of whose teams have and deserve articles. The New Jersey Hammerheads notability exists in the fact they are a high level, professional ultimate frisbee team in the highest level of professional ultimate league in America. -Redfox1294 (talk) 00:07, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
