UAA

edit

Hello, Zorya's Leshak. You've made 15 reports to WP:UAA in about 45 minutes. However, many of the accounts you've reported have zero edits. In general, administrators tend to only block users with zero edits when their usernames are particularly terrible, such as when they are racist or extremely offensive. Usernames like "Someidiotguy", "Hdehdgedjeusheudeh", and "Sussyamongusgirl1200" do not fall into that category. Even where an account has an edit, most administrators only block when their edits are vandalism or show that they are not constructive editors. Please see the instructions at the top of the noticeboard.

As another tip, you reported a username containing a telephone number to that noticeboard. However, since such information needs to be suppressed, it is best to follow the instructions at requests for Oversight, so that less cleanup will need to be done. I hope this helps. Just came to say the same thing. Don't report accounts with no edits. Secretlondon (talk) 00:40, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

thanks! there was an account called "Rigid Boxes" that double-submitted the article and immediately got blocked. I think that account got the offical credit for it. Zorya's Leshak (talk) 05:31, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Lost in transit scam

edit

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Draft:Lost in transit scam, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. DIVINE 📪 16:28, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Definitely not a hoax. Just not notable enough yet with 2 sources only. I could find more if you need, but I don't see how this is a "hoax". Zorya's Leshak (talk) 17:22, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination on User:RockettMovado/sandbox

edit

Hello @Zorya's Leshak,

I noticed you nominated User:RockettMovado/sandbox for speedy deletion. While the what they were writing was slightly promotional, it was not nearly enough to warrant a speedy deletion. The page was a userspace draft, so they were trying to write an article there, where it wouldn't be deleted, instead of in the draft space.

Sandboxes are made for testing articles and other things. They also created it less than 2 hours ago, so it isn't going to be perfect yet.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks, echidnaLives - talk - edits 04:07, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
